The Luminous Mysteries are prayed on Thursday in the usual weekly schedule. Pope St. John Paul II added them in 2002. They cover the public life of Christ, from His Baptism to the Last Supper.
In order: The Baptism of the Lord, The Wedding at Cana, The Proclamation of the Kingdom, The Transfiguration and The Institution of the Eucharist. Each one is the meditation for a decade of the Rosary, and each has a traditional fruit to ask for while you pray it.
The fruit of the Baptism of the Lord is openness to the Holy Spirit. The scripture read for it is Matthew 3:17: "And behold a voice from heaven, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
About 21 minutes for a full Rosary of the Luminous Mysteries at the guided Rosary's standard pace, counting the opening prayers, five decades and closing prayers, each recorded in two voices. The slow pace takes about 24 minutes.
From the Douay-Rheims Bible (Challoner): The Baptism of the Lord, Matthew 3:17; The Wedding at Cana, John 2:5; The Proclamation of the Kingdom, Mark 1:15; The Transfiguration, Matthew 17:2; The Institution of the Eucharist, Luke 22:19. The guided Rosary reads each line aloud when that mystery is announced.
