The Joyful Mysteries are prayed on Monday and Saturday in the usual weekly schedule. They recall the Incarnation and the hidden life of Christ, from the angel's greeting to Mary to the finding of the boy Jesus in the Temple.
In order: The Annunciation, The Visitation, The Nativity, The Presentation and The Finding in the Temple. Each one is the meditation for a decade of the Rosary, and each has a traditional fruit to ask for while you pray it.
The fruit of the Annunciation is humility. The scripture read for it is Luke 1:28: "And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women."
About 21 minutes for a full Rosary of the Joyful Mysteries at the guided Rosary's standard pace, counting the opening prayers, five decades and closing prayers, each recorded in two voices. The slow pace takes about 24 minutes.
From the Douay-Rheims Bible (Challoner): The Annunciation, Luke 1:28; The Visitation, Luke 1:42; The Nativity, Luke 2:7; The Presentation, Luke 2:22; The Finding in the Temple, Luke 2:46. The guided Rosary reads each line aloud when that mystery is announced.
