About Desert Road Catholic
A free companion built by one Catholic man for his own fraternity, and shared with any man who wants it.
Desert Road Catholic is a free, independent companion for Catholic men making Exodus 90.
Who's behind it
I'm Steve. I'm a Catholic man who has made Exodus 90 with my own fraternity for the past few years, and this year I'm leading our group. Each year the same thing happened: men started strong and drifted by the third week, usually because the days blurred together and nobody was walking right beside them.
I built Desert Road Catholic as the tool I wanted for my own group: one short video each morning, the reading in the Douay-Rheims, a word of encouragement, and a simple way to keep a fraternity together. I'm sharing it with any man who wants it.
Why it's free
A man's spiritual life shouldn't sit behind a subscription. Desert Road Catholic is free and will stay free. Day 1 is open to everyone, and registration is free for the rest. If it helps you, you can support it with a coffee, and that support pays for hosting and video production.
What it is and isn't
- It's a companion. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Exodus 90 or its publishers.
- The reflections are my own, written as a layman. They don't replace the teaching of the Church, your pastor or your spiritual director.
- Scripture is quoted from the Douay-Rheims Bible.
